Description

I've certainly improved a lot this past year.

JANUARY
I got the hang of coloring digitally with Photoshop. I still scanned drawings for lineart. Started drawing super-simple backgrounds and shading.

FEBRUARY
I started to utilize Photoshop more and started to see what I could do with it. Not much to say here, same as January.

MARCH
Ah, yes. Canpakestuck picked up (and then died down) so I started to use Photoshop as a sort of pixel art tool.

APRIL
Drew some Valve stuff here. Started getting into fanfiction more and more, I guess. I'm not entirely sure what to say.

MAY
This was the month I met Plum on Tumblr! She asked me to make this little thing. I still scanned the line art in during this time.

JUNE
This was my pride and joy at the time I drew it. Now, it just looks weird. But this was the time I started to go out of my comfort zone a little and work a little harder. I started to draw lineart digitally as well as scan it, and I began to look up tutorials on how to draw backgrounds/clouds.

JULY
July was probably my best month for art. I started using only digital line art and tried different styles of art. I also learned how to color more efficiently and cleaner, thanks to several tutorials on Tumblr.

AUGUST
This was the month I began to actually paint! I began to blend colors experimentally then moved onto my piece on the Pyro. Originally, it was cel-shaded, but I later went back and blended the colors.

SEPTEMBER
I got a new tablet that reacted to pressure this month. I switched back to cel-shading for a bit.

OCTOBER
I started to paint more and more uwu Not much to say here.

NOVEMBER
I painted my first real background! I got a few tips from another artist as I painted and in the end it turned out great!

DECEMBER
not much to say
